Few words about Skala..

From here you can take a guided tour to discover the island or hire a car to visit some of the beautiful beaches.  There is a Roman Villa in the village which you can visit and see the mosaics.  Nearby is the beach where the Caretta Caretta turtle comes each year to dig its nest and lay its eggs.
